- Montecassino Abbey: Begin the tour with a pickup from your accommodation in Rome by an air-conditioned comfortable vehicle and Professional English-speaking Driver.
Start your 1,5-hour drive to Montecassino, observing the landscape as you go.
Upon your arrival, begin a self-guided tour of the Abbey of Montecassino, one of the most well-known Abbeys in the world.
- Montecassino Polish War Cemetery: Visit to the Polish War Cemetery.
Work on the construction of the cemetery began in 1944, shortly after the end of hostilities, and was finished in 1946. The official consecration, however, took place on 1 September 1945 during a multi-faith celebration conducted according to the rites of the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and Jewish faiths, and was attended by representatives of the Polish Government-in-Exile and of Allied Command.
- Montecassino Commonwealth War Cemetery: The Commonwealth War Cemetery for the various military groups and nationalities who are held in high esteem by the local people. New Zealand, US, French, British and so many others who helped to free Italy from the grip if the Third Reich.
- Sant'Angelo In Theodice: The village of Sant'Angelo, the battlefield of the Rapido River, the Freedom Bell near that site.
- San Pietro Infine: The village of San Pietro was completely destroyed in late 1943 by fighting between the advancing U.S. forces seeking to break the Winter Line and the defending German troops. The Parco della Memoria Storica (History Memorial Park) contains the ruins of the village, still laying as they were at the end of the war.
- Lunch Time: Free time for a light lunch with local products before returning to Rome.
