• Bomarzo Monsters's Park: Tickets included, the "Sacred Wood of Bomarzo" is also known and rebaptized as Monster's Park. Prince Pier Francesco Orsini, wanted such a park "only to ease the heart". It was designed and laid out by the great architect, Pirro Ligorio, who was summoned to work at Saint Peter's in Vaticano after the death of Michelangelo and builded Villa D’Este in Tivoli. When you visit this Park you will go from surprise to surprise as animals and figures in stone suddenly appear: the Elephant that is about to kill a Warrior, the fighting Dragons, the Ogre in whose mouth you could pic-nic, Sleeping Beauty, Hercules tearing Cacus apart, Bears in ambush, animals with three heads, Neptune presiding figures, and finally a globe of the world balanced on the head of an Orc with a model of the Orsini Castle on top representing the power of his family…
• Orvieto town: Orvieto is a town of the region Umbria, situated on the flat summit of a large butte of volcanic tuff. The site of the city rises above the almost-vertical faces of tuff cliffs that are completed by defensive walls built of the same stone called Tufa. Orvieto was built originally in the Etruscan era, and it kept growing throughout the ages. It now has the looks of a medieval small town, but it’s still possible to understand its entire history by visiting the town’s most important sites.
• Duomo di Orvieto: Among the important sites to visit in Orvieto is the Duomo, one of the most magnificent you’ll ever see.
• Lunch Time: Lunch Time in Orvieto town, own expense, a taste of the best local cuisine, a mix of Rome, Tuscany and the smell of "poverty" of Umbria. These virtues of this "green" area cuisine.
• Orvieto Underground: Tickets included, local small group tour guide will lead the way, a five-minute walk, to the entrance of the grottos and tunnels that riddle the cliff of Orvieto. Once you cross the threshold and enter this world of the past, easily accessible and well lit, you’re no longer in the year 2012 but begin your journey back in time. Your guide, like Dante’s Virgil, tells you what was here thousands of years ago, when oceans and great forests covered the plain before volcanoes spewed detritus and lava that covered everything. Eventually the butte on which the city now stands was formed and settled. It is here, in the Underground , that you can still find clues to what life, with the Etruscans was like six hundred years before Christ, and in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and finally the nineteen hundreds. So suspend disbelief, leave the twenty-first century behind and become a traveler in time.
