- Cerveteri Town and Etruscan Archaeological area "La Banditaccia": Cerveteri has one of the largest archaeological sites in Italy: the Banditaccia (UNESCO heritage site) tickets included. This archaeological site is unquestionably one of the most important in all of Etruria area and one of the most monumental of the entire Mediterranean world with findings dating from the 9th century BC to the Greek-Roman period. It expanded from the 7th century BC on, following a precise plan. It covers an area of 400 ha, of which 10 ha can be visited, encompassing a total of 1,000 tombs often housed in characteristic mounds. It is the largest ancient necropolis in the Mediterranean area. The necropolis contains thousands of tombs organized in a city-like plan, with streets, small squares and neighbourhoods.
- Ceri Medieval Village: Ceri is a perfectly preserved Medieval village, located on a spur of tufe and access to the center is gained through the only gate in the castle walls. The village as it looks today was founded in 1236, when the inhabitants of its Caere neighbor abandoned the former to be better protected by rock formations. Perched on a spur of volcanic tuff rock with a ring of battlemented walls encircles the old houses that look onto the small square and nestle around the sanctuary to the Virgin Mary, which stands on an ancient site where Etruscans and Romans venerated the cult of the goddess Vesta. In 1980, during a restoration, frescoes from approximately the 12th century, representing some scenes drawn from Old Testament were discovered on a wall of the church building. The surroundings of this town are of major archeological, historical and natural significance and provide a setting of rare beauty. In fact, it is in the largest archeological area of Europe, the land of the Etruscans.
- Lunch Time: Lunch Time in Ceri, own expense, for gourmets, the local cuisine offers tasty dishes featuring wild boar with polenta, artichokes and homemade pasta, all accompanied by the wine for which Ceri is famous.
- Torrimpietra Castle and Castle's Cellar: It appears as a fortified village - with its watchtowers, moat and enclosure wall – clearly testifying its medieval origin. The Castle became the setting of magnificent banquets and hunting parties, while multicolored peacocks roamed through archaeological ruins and juniper trees. The Castle's Cellar is located inside the medieval “Borgo” village of Torre in Pietra. It was built in the 12th century by digging into the tufa hills behind the Castle. In the thirties, while digging the connecting tunnel between the two caverns, two mammoth tusks were found here.
- Wine Tasting: You will be able to visit the Castle's Cellar where you can taste local wine, buy some of the products and visit the cellar.
At the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to your ship.
